Hazel processes the messages, photos, voicemails, and other content you forward to its phone number for the purpose of identifying potential scams and protecting the enrolled user. Forwarded content may be retained for up to 90 days to provide a record of activity to your designated family caregiver and to improve scam-detection accuracy. After 90 days, content is deleted from active storage.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it for any purpose other than providing the Hazel service. Your phone number, contact information, and forwarded content are processed using industry-standard secure infrastructure.
Hazel may use the analyzed content (with personally identifying information removed) to improve our scam-detection systems. You may request deletion of all your data at any time by contacting us.

By signing up, you authorize Hazel to send SMS replies to messages forwarded to our number from the enrolled phone number. Standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. To stop receiving messages, reply STOP at any time. For help, reply HELP.
Hazel is intended for legitimate family safety use. You may not enroll a phone number you are not authorized to enroll, and you may not forward content you do not have the right to forward.
Hazel makes no guarantee that all scams will be detected, or that all messages flagged as scams are in fact fraudulent. Final judgment about whether to act on any forwarded message remains with the user and their family.
